Detroit-Style Pizza Workshop at Third Coast

If you’ve ever wanted to go beyond just eating pizza and actually understand what makes a really good one — this is for you.

For this special Eat & Meet Prague collaboration, we’re inviting you into the kitchen at Third Coast Pizza for a hands-on Detroit-style pizza workshop. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how this iconic style comes together — from dough to bake — and learn what gives it that signature airy crust, crispy cheese edges, and sauce-on-top finish.

This isn’t just a demo. You’ll be part of the process.

We’ll walk you through how we make our pizzas, explain the key stages and techniques, and share the thinking behind every step — from fermentation to pan choice to baking. Then you’ll step in, work with the dough, build your own pizza, and see it through to the final bake.

Once the pizzas are in the oven, we slow things down — eat together, have a couple of drinks, and enjoy a relaxed, social afternoon with a small group of people who are just as into food as you are.
